I've been debating how to keep mainly C and W caught up, and this venue has the most pros so far. Hence me jumping on the bandwagon of bloggage. I've never experienced a family so wide-spread as we all are now, so I feel the need to shove news about us down your throats, should you so decide to check back. Pictures, over-usage of commas, most likely scrapbook pages for C ;), and ramblings are what you have to look forward to... so why wouldn't you come back?
To update anyone who clicked on the link you were sent, M and I are currently residing in Petal with A, who has embraced 'terrible two's' with gusto; L, currently six months, immobile, and drooling; Belle, feline and lazy; Darcy, canine in descent, horse in figure; and a few birds living in our chimney. My girls are gorgeous; thinking otherwise gets you banned. A is trying to master intelligible speech: her current favorites include 'What doing here?', 'go go' (whenever you are required to do something NOW), 'MINEEEEEE' (even my foot was declared so), 'where go?' and interchangeable words like 'broken', 'cookies' and 'juice'... they fit all situations. She turned two January 27 and is 29 lbs 35.5 inches of red-haired energy. She'll probably be taller than me by 4th grade. Here are some pictures from the last month.
A got a play stroller for her birthday and decided to try out being merchandise. 3/5

I put a bandage over a wound on her ankle, and she was so entranced she needed one on her knee too ;).

3/11 This picture was taken after she vehemently declared chocolate milk, 'Chocolate juice.'

3/18 Mother had the week off for Spring break so she decided to take A to the zoo. Look at that cheesy smile ;). She looks like she just gave a pitch on a *brand new used car!!!!*

3/19 A sure does love to give L kisses....

I had more, tons of cute pictures, but apparently me and M's camera aren't getting along. They were almost all blurry :(.
L is my sweet Aryan, with her gorgeous smile and silly dimple. It still seems like she was born yesterday (in this seeming there was no chicken pox).. seven months will be here Wednesday. She's trying to master staying upright and the crawl; unfortunately it seems she's a bit behind A in mobile development since I can rarely put her down in a place to practice these skill. A likes to love on her a BIT too much. She weighed 18 lbs a few days ago, and was already 28.5 inches long last month. I haven't measured her yet this month, I'm sure she'll be 3 feet tall. She's planning on outgrowing me by Kindergarten. Again, pictures. Not quite so many as A, but I plan to do better.
3/25 She's got a runny nose, so forgive her. She had just eaten, and was looking very cute.

M is working at Frito Lay, waiting for a better opportunity to present itself. He talks of writing a novel, going back to school, etc.... but he hasn't quite figured out what he wants to do. I think if there were a job demanding 24/7 video game play, he'd be set. I am homemaking/housewifing/mothering, trying desperately to lose weight with Weight Watchers, and digi-scrapping. You're a big meanie, C, to get me addicted to it.
The end.
It's tough battling addiction, isn't it? I've got a monkey on back, too. A monkey made of tutus, hair clips, glass pendants and home redesign. It's a powerful addiction that may require therapy... or a dedicated craft room. Yea, that is more like it!!
ReplyDeleteBethany,
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a gift of writing as well as photography. We knew Matt was a talented photographer, but you're GOOD. (Tell Matt thanks from us for letting you use his camera.)
We especially love your main topics, Aly and Lorelei. Give them a kiss for us! Daddy & Mom
