If you're our friend on Facebook or in the immediate family, you probably already know that Matt got the Gamestop Assistant Manager job. This is a dream come true and answered prayer for us; not only that we'll finally have some income but also how much Matt wanted this job. His workforce passion has always been retail, and this will provide both that plus his most favored hobby: gaming. There were be opportunites for advancement, good insurance... everything one can take for granted until it's gone. The pay rather sucks, so I'll still have to get a job, but that is worth Matt being happy with his job and Matt being -home-.
Unfortunately I still haven't found a job. I've decided to try my hand at selling crocheted items, but I'm not anticpating anything like that equaling the pay I'd get at a normal job. Just something that will *hopefully* sell a few items while I'm feeding my creative urges. Might work, might not. I'll be posting some pictures soon on here and Facebook and would love input. I most definitely don't want to use up yarn and time on something that nobody wants :).
Thanks to Carole and Wes, Matt is passionate about photography again. He's made a Facebook page, updated his Deviant Art page a bit, and is hopeful that something on the side will come of that. Check it out :).
Aly and Lorelei are their normal destructively cute selves. I'm not quite sure how they will take it when Matt goes back to work (or being put in daycare so I can work, for that matter) as they have grown very used to seeing Daddy all day.
Thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart, for all you have done and are doing for us through this time. We appreciate everything and will never forget it. I must ask that you still keep us in your prayers as I search to find an appropriate job and income, and as Matt reenters the workforce.
Your turn, Wes! :)
